Q. My scan had an error in it (Artifact, finger, tool, etc.). Should I just scan over it or redo the scan?

A. In vast majority of cases, you will need to trash the scan and start over for the respective section. Scanning over artifacts or errors will only confuse the software and exacerbate the issue.
